He is also a retired award-winning volleyball coach. Stephen started and ran the first House League program in the Waterloo Region as well as Mini & Pee Wee programs and Beach programs. The program blossomed from the onset growing at a high pace. All of these programs are now the foundation of that club. Where Stephen has most excelled is in his coaching of competitive club teams. He was the first coach in a major club's history to feature a top four finish at Volleyball Canada National Championships with his 17U Girls team. Over his career, he had only finished out of the top 5 once in Ontario when coaching an age category of 15U and older.
Personally, Stephen is married, has two grown children, and two furry children named Petey and Lenny. He lives with his family in beautiful Kitchener Ontario Canada. Stephen and his wife are real estate investors with residential rental properties and an airBNB.

We worked with Stephen for our first mortgage and then our renewal. Stephen is all the things you want in a broker - knowledgeable, friendly, patient and responsive - but he also goes beyond. He spent a long time helping us look at options only for us to go back to our original lender. He was so graceful and understanding. But after some consideration, we realized the options he had given us were much better and so we came back and he helped us close a new and better deal. This level of understanding, flexibility and patience within a complex decision making process has made us loyal clients for life (although he found us such a great deal we might not actually need a mortgage for that much longer!). Highly recommended.

It’s an understatement to say Stephen is the best I have come across in Ontario specifically for residential mortgage.
